MILLINERY BLOCKING : The process of shaping material onto a mould to form the body of the hat.
Over 6 evenings learn the basics of millinery blocking.  Master a particular shape and fabric of choice or discover a range of fabrics using a selection of varying blocks.  Learn traditional blocking techniques as well as elements of couture finishing to include correct stiffening methods, wiring and clean finishing.

Match your headpiece to your event outfit

On this course you will bring along a photo or your event outfit/accessories and make a headpiece to match.  Over the 2 day course you will learn blocking techniques to make a large and unique headpiece to match your outfit.  Create up to 2 finished pieces over the course.  Learn techniques in blocking, stiffening, wiring trimming and finishing your headpiece to allow you to create your own headpiece for another event again.
